Episcopal Youth Community: December news

Being thankful and having gratitude was our theme for the month of November for our Sunday Morning EYCs. We have been exploring many bible verses that connect with this theme which led to many engaging discussions. We also had a few projects throughout the month. One of our projects was creating our gratitude tree for our Thanksgiving window. We also have a favorite closing prayer for the season that we wanted to share.

Let me wake up every morning and be thankful for the wonderful life that you have given me. Help me to see the good in things. Help me to be happy with who I am and the life I am living. Lead me down the path you have set for me. Guide me in the way that I get to show the world my gifts. I put all in your hands Jesus, use me as your vessel. I thank you for my health, love, abilities, family, friends, and most of all this life. I will do great things in your name. AMEN

We want to thank everyone for supporting the EYC with our annual wreath and garland fundraiser. The money that we raise helps fund attending youth conferences and other EYC trips.

If you know of any middle or high school young people interested in our ever-growing ministry, please feel free to give them the following contact information, the more the merrier!
