Come and see what God is doing in 2023
Andrew asked Jesus, a simple question:
“Where are you staying?”
Jesus replied with an invitation:
“Come and see.”
Jesus was inviting him to come see the community that he was beginning to form. St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound is important to us, but it is only a church when we, the “living stones,” come together.
We are rediscovering what it is like for “two or three to gather” and we are rediscovering what it is to worship, study, and play together. We are grateful for those who support this church by their presence Sunday to Sunday, and we invite others to join us again. One of the sentiments I hear most often these days is, “It’s better when we’re together.”
I am also deeply grateful to all of you who have supported St. Andrew’s financially through these difficult years. As we move forward into 2023, we can only do so with your continued support.
I believe strongly in the Episcopal expression of the Christian faith and how we express it at St. Andrew’s. I will be increasing my pledge this year, and I invite you to join me.
Enclosed is a pledge card for the 2023. Costs have risen over the past few years, and we ask you to prayerfully consider what you may give in 2023.
Faithfully,
Richard G. Elliott
